I have collated the following organisations and services that are helping those sleeping rough and/or in need. They have been recommended to me via social media. Thanks to all those that helped!

  • The Period Project (Caring for women, transmen and non binary people experiencing homelessness by providing sanitary products, help and support – several locations in Australia.)
  • The Rough Period
  • Orange Sky (laundry and shower service for Australians)
  • Pinchapoo (hotel toiletry “pinching” movement for people in need of toiletry products in Australia)
  • One Humanity Shower Bus (providing showers to those in the Ballarat region)
  • Blessing bags (everyday essentials for those in need in Melbourne)




  • Wintringham (Specialised welfare that provides housing and care to elderly and frail people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Victoria)

ABORIGINAL and First Nations

  • Djirra (culturally safe place where culture is celebrated and practical support is available in Vic)
  • First Nations Homelessness Project (care and support for First Nations people experiencing issues with homelessness, eviction and child removal.)



  • St Kilda Mums (rehoming preloved nursery goods to support Victorian families in need)
  • Baby Give Back (Gold Coast charity organising donations for families in need)
  • Karinya House (for Mothers and Babies)
